Welcome at www.fokkerij-kaprice.com. Here you will find all about our breedingmares, their offspring and their results at competitions and championships.
For already ten years we are breeding sportshorses. Many mares were inseminated by Zangersheide stallions and although lately more showjumping horses were born, we also breed dressage horses. Through the years a total of 10 mares were inseminated and gave us around 25 foals. In 2010 Kaprice gave birth to her last foal, Gypsy-Calice G Z. She was the last mare of the first generation breedingmares.
When our foals are ceveral months old, they will be showed at a foalchamionship. Some we sell there or at an auction, others stay untill they are about three to four years old. Mares will be inseminated and have one or two foals, then they will be trained by professional riders. Some mares stay and become the next generation breedingmares.
Foals and young horses we sell we continue to follow at competitions if possible. We are proud to see the oldest are doing very well at national and international competitions. Kaprice´ first filly, Calice Z (v. Calvaro Z) jumps 1.50m in America and her only foal, Capitalice G Z (v. Celano) is competing in 1.40m at only seven years old.
Challon Z (v. Cariador Z) by the mare Otaria (v. Irish Taxi xx) is an approved breedingstallion in England an competes in Brittish Eventing.
