Photos of our horses and their offspring.

Our love for horses already started at the farm of our Grandma. Even when our children were little we had ponies over there. In 1992 Jan decided to buy a one year old horse,  Mirza. She could enjoy growing up in a very nice pasture at Moerstraten. In the meantime our children were riding their pony.

During the week our Uncle Piet took care of the pony's and at weekends and wednesday afternoons he took the children riding, so they had a lot of fun at our grandma and uncle Wannes´ farm.

When Mirza was three years old, we decided to breed a foal. That's where it all started.

Inexperienced as we were we first asked Caron Kommers to help us break in Mirza. There she was inseminated and became pregnant by the stallion Corlando.

Close to being in labour we moved her from Moerstraten to the stables of Jack Uitdewilgen in Halsteren. He was very experienced helping mares to deliver their foal, he already had many foals out of his own mares. At the middle of the night, when Mirza just delivered her first foal, he called us. We arrived 15 minutes later and there we saw our first filly: Native.

A few years later we went to an event at Zangersheide. Became a member and decided to inseminate two mares by a Zangersheide stallion. Kaprice participated in competitions when she was inseminated bij the stallion Calvaro Z and so was Delila who was inseminated bij Cilton Z that exact same year. Almost one year later the mares had to take a short break from competitions and the foals Calice Z and Ciltano Z were born.

Kaprice' offspring, competes and are sold all over the world, Calice Z jumps 1.50m in America. At the age of four she had one filly, Capitalice G Z. She participates in 1.40 at only seven years old and was sold in December 2008. Two colds of her were sold to England an Italy. Kaprice retired in 2010 after she had her last filly Gypsy-Calice G Z. So now it is upto her and Calice G Z to deputize for her.

Another very important breeding mare was Otaria. She also has given us beautiful offspring over the years. Otaria died in 2010 but fortunattely she gave us beautiful mares who are inseminated now. Her first colt has impressive results in British eventing and has his own website www.challonz.com where you can find everything about him as an approved breeding stallion.

Our young mares will hopefully give birth to many healthy fillies and colts, some will be sold after a couple of years, others will stay so there will be a diversity of bloodlines.

This is our whole story, from the beginning untill now. Our horses are very near to our house, so we can easily take care of them ourselves and enjoy the sport of breeding horses for many years.
